The role:

As a Payment Operations Specialist at Tabby, you will play a key role in the financial operations of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to manage payment processing, monitor transaction records, resolve payment-related issues, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong aptitude for financial operations, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

Payment Processing:
  • Manage the end-to-end payment process, including receiving, verifying, and recording incoming payments.
  • Process payments through various channels
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payment processing.
Transaction Monitoring:
  • Regularly review transaction records and statements to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or issues promptly, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Compliance and Regulations:
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance requirements to ensure that all payments adhere to legal and industry standards.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to payment processing.
Reporting:
  • Generate reports related to payment activities, reconciliation, and financial performance for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data analysis and insights.
Vendor Management:
  • Respond to payment-related inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal teams in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain and build relationships with all service providers and market players.
  • Ensure cost optimisation and keep up to date with all the latest pricing in the market across all vendors.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and organized payment records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in the archiving and retrieval of financial documents as needed.
