Job Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented

PAVA Presales Engineer

with expertise in

Public Address (PA)

,

Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA)

systems, and

Background Music (BGM)

. While experience in mixed

Extra Low Voltage (ELV)

systems is welcome, the ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in

PA/PAVA Systems

, ensuring successful design, estimation, and support aligned with client requirements and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Solutions

Part 1:

Design and propose

PA

and

BGM

systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications and international standards.

Part 2:

Design and propose

PAVA

systems in accordance with

UAE Civil Defense

regulations. Prepare detailed

Scope of Work (SoW)

and

Operational Narratives

for proposed solutions. Develop

concept drawings

,

one-line diagrams

, and

layouts

using tools like

AutoCAD

or

Visio

. Prepare comprehensive

Bill of Materials (BoM)

, including required equipment and services. Prepare detailed

compliance statements

for consultant specifications as per project requirements.

Pre-Sales Support

Collaborate with the sales team to present and explain technical solutions to clients of varying technical understanding. Provide technical support throughout the sales lifecycle, from pre-bid to handover. Conduct site visits and surveys to evaluate technical requirements.

Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for product availability and timely delivery. Engage with architects, consultants (including MEP), and project stakeholders for integrated design development.

Continuous Improvement & Support

Stay current on trends, products, and technologies in

PA/PAVA/BGM

and related ELV systems. Support execution teams with technical clarifications and solution adjustments when required.

Key Requirements

Experience & Education

3+ years

of experience in pre-sales, design, and estimation of

PA/PAVA/BGM

systems. Degree or Diploma in

Electronics & Telecommunications

,

Electrical Engineering

, or equivalent.

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of

PA, PAVA, and BGM systems

design and integration.

Proficiency in SPL & STI calculations

using

EASE

and other related audio modeling software. Working knowledge of

AutoCAD

,

MS Office

, and documentation tools. Familiarity with

international and UAE Civil Defense standards

related to PA and PAVA. Basic understanding of

networking

as it applies to audio systems.

Skills & Attributes

Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Strong commercial awareness and client handling. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented and collaborative work ethic.

Additional Requirements

Willingness to conduct site inspections and client visits. UAE Driving License (preferred).
