We are urgently in need of Pastry Sous Chef to work for our VIP Client here in Abu Dhabi.
Job Specifications and Responsibilities:
Must have worked as Pastry Sous Chef from prominent Hotels or Catering company, minimum of 5 years and with strong or advanced knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, including decorating.
Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation of all pastry items.
Guide, train, and motivate junior staff, providing on-the-job training to improve their skills and ensure adherence to standards.
Assist in developing new recipes and menus, and ensure all products meet set quality and presentation specifications.
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering ingredients, and control food costs to minimize waste and maintain profitability.
Ensure all food production meets the highest standards of quality, and that all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (like HACCP) are strictly followed.
Ensure kitchen equipment is used correctly, cleaned, and properly maintained.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
