We are hiring a talented and detail-oriented Pastry Senior CDP to take charge of a specific area within the pastry section. You will play a key role in production, quality control, and mentoring junior staff, ensuring every item reflects creativity, consistency, and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Lead a pastry station and ensure smooth, timely production of desserts and baked items.
xc2xb7 Prepare and plate high-quality pastries according to recipes and presentation standards.
xc2xb7 Assist in training and supervising pastry commis and junior CDPs.
xc2xb7 Maintain stock levels, handle mise en place, and manage section prep.
xc2xb7 Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and HACCP compliance at all times.
xc2xb7 Collaborate with the Pastry Sous Chef and Pastry Chef on new menu items and improvements.
xc2xb7 Uphold consistency in taste, texture, and presentation under pressure.
Requirements
xc2xb7 Minimum 34 years of pastry kitchen experience, with at least 1 year as a CDP.
xc2xb7 Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Pastry Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
xc2xb7 HACCP Certified strong knowledge of food safety and cleanliness.
xc2xb7 Proficient in a variety of pastry techniques, including dough, creams, fillings, and decorative finishes.
xc2xb7 Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
xc2xb7 Good time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
