Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries including
cakes, muffins, croissants, and donuts
, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Develop and innovate new pastry recipes and presentations tailored to the UAE market.
Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with UAE food regulations.
Manage pastry inventory, control costs, and minimize wastage.
Train and supervise junior pastry staff, ensuring teamwork and skill development.
Collaborate with the culinary and management teams to plan menus and special pastry offerings for events and promotions.
Stay updated on the latest trends in pastry arts and incorporate them into the product range.
Ensure timely delivery and presentation of pastries for service.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Pastry Chef in the UAE (minimum 3-5 years).
Expertise in baking and decorating cakes, muffins, croissants, and donuts.
Knowledge of local and international pastry trends and flavors.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
