We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cake & Pastry Chef / Chef de Partie with deep expertise in French patisserie and entremets. The ideal candidate will bring a refined artistic flair, technical precision, and creativity to our pastry kitchen, contributing to the creation of elegant desserts that reflect both tradition and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-end French desserts including entremets, tarts, choux-based pastries, macarons, and plated desserts
Day to day preparation of Cakes, Desserts & Gateaux, Brownies, Cupcakes, Chocolates and other miscellaneous confectionery items
Timely preparation of all items and strict adherence to given schedule so that all orders are prepared on time and as per schedule
Develop new recipes and seasonal menus in collaboration with the head chef
Ensure precision in flavor, texture, and aesthetic presentation
Maintain consistency and quality across all pastry offerings
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety protocols in accordance with HACCP standards
Monitor ingredient stocks & inventory, manage mise en place, and minimize wastage
Supervise and train junior pastry staff in daily preparation and service and provide on-the-job training where necessary
Handle customer requests for customized cakes and desserts (when applicable)
Collaborate with other pastry chef or management team to meet quality, efficiency, and aesthetic goals
Train colleagues and other pastry chefs to implement same presentation & aesthetics across the company
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef / Chef de Partie in a high-end bakery, hotel, fine-dining or boutique patisserie setting
Strong foundation in classic and contemporary French patisserie techniques, especially entremets, mousses, mirror glazes, and layered desserts and other fine pastry elements
Excellent eye for detail and artistic presentation
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously
Culinary degree or pastry certification preferred
Passion for innovation and a refined dessert palate
Flexible with working hours including weekends or festive seasons
Ability to innovate while respecting classic flavor profiles and techniques
Team player with strong communication and time-management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience in chocolate work, sugar decor, and plated dessert presentation
Familiarity with dietary adaptations (gluten-free, eggless, vegan)
Prior experience with bakery costing and inventory management is a plus

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
