Create and prepare a range of pastry items, including cakes, tarts, cookies, chocolates, ice creams, and desserts, adhering to standardized recipes and high-quality expectations.
Ensure all baked goods meet established standards for taste, texture, and visual presentation, maintaining consistency across all items.
Mentor, train, and supervise junior chefs and commis staff, ensuring they follow established procedures and uphold quality standards.
Monitor ingredient stock levels, assist with ordering, and control wastage and portioning to maintain cost-efficiency and achieve food cost targets.
Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and safe working environment in the pastry station, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with the Head and Sous Chefs to develop new pastry items and refine existing recipes, participating in menu planning discussions.
Oversee the entire pastry section, ensuring proper organization, cleanliness, and efficient operation of the station with minimal supervision.
Salary: AED5,000 - 6,000 plus Food and Accommodation provided by Company
