Overview of the role:

• Spare Parts Sales - over the counter

What you will do:

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts & suggesting right parts/add-ons and offer specials to ensure customer is exposed to the full product line for all the brands represented by the company
• Receive customer enquiries and identify the correct part numbers using the parts catalogues (EPC)
• Advise the customers on replacement of related parts and benefits of using genuine parts
• Ensure that the quotations, sales orders, sales returns, warranties and application of customer discounts or special net prices are performed as per the standard operating procedure
• Follow-up back-orders so that customers receive timely information on the status of back-ordered parts and ensure that such parts are delivered to the customer on the promised date.
• Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
• Assist FAMCO Filed Parts Sales teams and Service workshops with their quotations and orders

Required skills to be successful:

• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office products. Ability and knowledge of the Parts portion of the Dealership Management System and other computer applications to support operations
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
• Relationship building: Needs to have the ability to build and maintain friendly, warm relationships with customers

About the team:

Working in a fast-paced and diverse environment, reporting diretly to the Parts Manager.

What equips you for the role:

• Minimum 3 years\' work experience in automotive or equipment spare parts especially Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Industrial Products and Construction Equipment
• Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in any discipline or equivalent
