Job Description

A Parts Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth flow of parts-related activities, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and efficient vehicle servicing.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their parts inquiries, orders, and concerns.

Utilize product knowledge to accurately identify and locate the required automotive parts.

Process parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer and internal service needs.

Maintain an organized and well-managed parts inventory, including restocking and conducting regular stock checks.

Work closely with service technicians and other departments to understand parts requirements for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of parts and negotiate favorable terms.

Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal staff regarding parts selection and compatibility.

Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, orders, and inventory levels.

Collaborate with the sales team to assist in selling parts and accessories, providing product information and pricing details.

Educate customers on the proper use, maintenance, and care of purchased parts.

Address and resolve any issues related to incorrect orders, damaged parts, or customer concerns.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training is a plus.

Previous experience in automotive parts or a related field is advantageous.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Proficiency in using parts cataloging and inventory management software.

Knowledge of automotive systems and parts.

Organizational and multitasking abilities.

Detail-oriented and accurate in processing orders and maintaining records.
