The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels, distribution boards, and control panels in accordance with engineering drawings and industry standards. The technician should be able to perform precise electrical connections and ensure panels are compliant with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and panel wiring diagrams.
Assemble and wire control panels, switchboards, and distribution boards according to technical specifications.
Mount components such as relays, circuit breakers, contactors, terminals, and PLCs inside the panels.
Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and labeling within enclosures.
Terminate wires using appropriate crimping, stripping, and soldering tools.
Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and functionality testing of panels.
Identify and resolve wiring issues during testing and commissioning.
Maintain inventory of wiring tools, equipment, and panel accessories.
