Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for operating and maintaining the panel saw machine to cut wood panels and boards accurately according to project specifications. Ensures high-quality output while maintaining safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the panel saw machine to cut panels, MDF, plywood, and other materials as per drawings and measurements. Read and interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and job orders. Adjust saw settings and blades for precision cutting. Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy and quality. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the machine and surrounding area. Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the supervisor. Follow company safety and quality standards at all times.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating a panel saw machine in a carpentry or joinery workshop. Ability to read technical drawings and measurements. Knowledge of wood types and panel materials. Attention to detail and safety awareness.
