As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Packaging Technologist to join their team. Role Overview: As a Packaging Technologist specializing in folding cartons, your primary responsibility will be to deduce the most efficient planning of boxes for printing and die cutting. You will collaborate closely with our sales, prepress, and production departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client requirements and develop optimal folding carton designs for printing and die cutting processes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client expectations and provide technical expertise during client interactions.
- Liaise with the prepress department to ensure accurate artwork preparation and effective color management.
- Work closely with the production team to optimize processes, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations on cost-effective packaging solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in folding carton production.
- Monitor quality control measures to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory standards.
- Resolve technical issues related to folding cartons in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Packaging Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Packaging Technologist, preferably with expertise in folding cartons.
- In-depth knowledge of printing techniques, die cutting processes, and folding carton design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools used in packaging design.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to deduce efficient box planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and precision.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to packaging.
