Responsible for the day-to-day management of Façade Cladding Subcontractor(s), Building maintenance units (BMU) subcontractor, and interior glazing package. Intermediator between Client and Project Management representatives, Project Consultants Team, and Subcontractors. Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day management of Façade Cladding Subcontractor(s), Building maintenance units (BMU) subcontractor, and interior glazing package. Intermediator between Client and Project Management representatives, Project Consultants Team, and Subcontractors. Responsibilities:
- Reviews and carries out the design, engineering, and documentation, provide a “specialist” input, resolves technical problems, and ensures quality, and safety of execution on projects undertaken by the team;
- Works closely with the team leader/ project leader on all technical matters relating to the project's progress;
- Directs work sequencing to expedite job delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing operations;
- Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of my own work;
- Responsible for the production of routine letters and/or reports and other documents from standard templates;
- Undertakes liaison and coordination with other designers, including architects, and other consultants to ensure projects meet the design brief;
- Keeping up-to-date on industry and technology advances and trends; recommending changes in approach and services as appropriate
- Responsible for the detailed follow-up on the following:
- Subcontract(s) agreement and contractual documentation (in coordination with contract’s department);
- Planning of façade package and integration into the project master schedule;
- Verification of BOQ and follow-up monthly invoicing and payment (in coordination with contracts and administration department)
- Technical submittals / documentation / RFI’s
- Procurement, fabrication, and installation
- Quality of design, fabrication, and installation/close out of SCIs, NCRs;
- Overall coordination (design and execution) between cladding subcontractor(s), main contractor, and several other subcontractors (main structure, MEP, fit-out), Project’s Consultants Team, Project Management Team, and Client
- Daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
- Lead façade package progress meetings with Client, Project Consultant and Management team, and subcontractor(s)
- Close out of the subcontracts (as-built documentation, the final value of subcontract, disclaimer)
- Assists and/or reviews the methodology and planning activities of potential projects (local/international);
- Support in solving execution problems in Besix International projects, if required.
- Strong people management and leadership skills;
- Proven ability to work creatively to reach solutions to complex problems;
- Hold strong interpersonal skills and can demonstrate technical leadership and mentoring;
- Ability to understand multi-disciplinary coordination issues;
- Robust project management skills;
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of understanding of industry communication protocols;
- Ability to set, monitor, and deliver on budgets;
- Flexible, accountable, organized, and result-oriented;
- Resilient aptitude to work within an international team of people with different cultural backgrounds;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable of the latest developments, trends, and competitors within the glazing industry and construction marketplace.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structures) or Architecture;
- Ideally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position within a construction company, preferably with Main Contractors in the Middle East;
- Strong experience in Experience in facades/ curtain walling activities;
- Proficient in English Communication; French or Dutch is a plus;
- Comprehensive knowledge of façade systems and design and relevant codes and standards;
- Expert in relevant façade & structural finite element software
- Flexible to travel within the GCC
