Core Responsibilities:

Preparing for Interpretation Sessions

+ Set up and ensure all equipment is functioning. + Test microphones, headsets, and troubleshoot issues ( if exists). + Perform Packet loss tests and log in to required platforms. + Review materials and familiarize yourself with the session context.

Providing Interpretation During Sessions

+ Accurately interpret spoken language. + Maintain conversation flow without errors. + Ensure confidentiality and impartiality.

Reporting and Feedback

+ Submit reports on completed sessions. Provide necessary feedback and document issues.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong proficiency in English with excellent verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Customer Focus: Demonstrate a commitment to delivering superior customer service. Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with clients and other interpreters to support team objectives. Technical Experience: Familiarity with using phone systems and interpretation software is advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

0 to 6 months of proven experience in an interpretation role. Experience in a contact center or remote working environment is preferred but not essential.
