Responsibilities

SAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

  • Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.
QUALITY
  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company\'s Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford\xe2\x80\x99s Management System
  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.
OPERATIONS
  • Responsible for Supplier overall On-time-delivery (OTD) and other KPIs
  • Work closely with SQE team to develop suppliers.
  • Set and coordinate Business reviews with vendors.
  • Manages and coordinates materials requirements and sourcing through MRP using the JD Edwards business solution.
  • Drive balance between supply and demand to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Directs and coordinates all purchasing activities in support of the master production schedule utilizing best practices and strategic sourcing techniques.
  • Ensures the health of the supply chain in terms of existing suppliers with a reliable track record for quality and on time delivery.
  • Directs and coordinates expediting of procured material.
  • Establish and manage KPIs to ensure 95%+ on-time delivery of purchased material and components.
  • Knows and understands the Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all the requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
  • With assistance from HR: recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies/trade compliance
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned within the physical constraints of the job.
  • Identify supply chain risks and work closely with Category and Sourcing leads where needed to proactively eliminate them
  • Ensure strategic and operational information, reports and metrics are available to share with others in the business as and when required
  • Design, develop and implement flexible solutions to aid business efficiency, drive process improvements and add value
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time
  • Ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively to ensure material supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs
  • Manage inventory risk and ensure that contingency plans are in place
  • Ensure that Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) is effective and that data is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure strategic and operational information, reports and metrics are available to share with others in the business as and when require improvements
  • Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan, and facilitate on-time materials to the production line as and when required avoiding disruption to production
  • Liaise with stakeholders on product change requests and review and communicate the impact on material planning and schedule
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
COMMUNICATION
  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.
  • Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reports.
FINANCIAL
  • All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they oversee a function budget or simply their own expenses.
  • Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure.
PEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT
  • Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential.
  • Supervisors are expected to actively engage their employees to support talent management through Weatherford\xe2\x80\x99s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities.
  • Supervisors should collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personal & to foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce.

  • Demonstrates leadership, ethical behaviour, and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times.
  • Identify process problems and concerns and make recommendations for innovative solutions and corrective actions to achieve desirable results, help the company better manage cost on supplies and supplier services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in various supply functions
  • With MRP/ERP Systems with JD Edwards & Strategic Sourcing experience
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Should be able to work and interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Good verbal communication skills. Have a good command of the English language.
  • Should be able to work closely with fellow employees.
  • Must have good negotiation skill.
