Our client is a Retail Company in UAE. They are now looking for a OTT Planning & Development Engineer to join them.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working in tandem with our operations team on daily operational customer facing tasks.
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
- Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the operation lifecycle.
- Employing problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel.
- Work on shift basis along with operations team
- Provide support to Etisalat Multi Cloud Customers
- Maintain Physical Servers & Hardware infrastructure
- Maintain Operating Systems(Solaris / Linux / Windows) for customer VMs
- Patch / upgrade Operating Systems for security compliance
- Provide Backup and Recovery service
- Maintain SAN Storage infrastructure including EMC and other vendor storage
- Provide day to day operation support for Cloud platforms including VMWARE and Openstack
- Maintain SLA and contract for Etisalat Engineering Cloud
- Operate and maintain Etisalat Private cloud, Telco Cloud, Azure and any public Cloud
- Migrate physical servers to Cloud
- Air ticket for Self
- Insurance for Self
