The Oracle Functional consultant is responsible for the overall finance/SCM related projects/Issues within the Oracle EBS Applications environment. This role requires a deep understanding of finance/SCM business processes, Oracle EBS Finance/SCM functionality. The Functional Consultant will work closely with respective Leads, business stakeholders, technical teams, and other project members to ensure successful delivery and ongoing support of the finance/SCM solution.

Capable for Finance/SCM workstream for Oracle EBS support projects. Configure Oracle EBS Finance modules i.e. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Taxes, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Fixed assets to meet business needs. Basic setup/configuration knowledge about Purchasing, Inventory, Order Mgt. Very good understanding of Oracle Order-to-Cash, RMA, Procure-to-Pay and Pay-On- Receipt cycles. Basic understanding about Organization structure and Multi-Org Access. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to finance/SCM processes. Develop test plans and execute testing activities to ensure system quality. Provide support to the finance/SCM team and manage finance/SCM related activities. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for finance/SCM-related issues. Stay up to date with Oracle EBS Finance/SCM product and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Oracle EBS certification (e.g., Oracle Financials or SCM).

Additional Information

Experience:

Proven experience supporting Oracle EBS Finance/SCM applications. Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP migration projects.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze business requirements and configure Oracle EBS. Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities. Advanced knowledge of SQL and Oracle EBS reporting tools. Experience in process automation and workflow enhancements. Understanding of data migration and integration processes.

Accountabilities:

Financial:

Ensure accurate configuration and maintenance of financial modules to optimize financial operations. Support cost control and financial compliance through Oracle EBS configuration. Assist in financial data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in reporting. Optimize Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash cycles to enhance financial efficiency. Facilitate budget tracking and cost management within the Oracle EBS framework.

Non-Financial:

Maintain system integrity by ensuring Oracle EBS configurations align with business processes. Improve operational efficiency by automating repetitive finance and SCM tasks. Provide continuous user support and training for finance and SCM teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Oracle EBS capabilities with business needs. * Ensure compliance with company policies and Oracle EBS best practices.
