Job Description

The System Administrator (Oracle) is responsible for the comprehensive management, optimization, and support of all Oracle-based systems within our Healthcare Facility Management.

Operating within a regulated healthcare IT environment, the System Administrator (Oracle) ensures secure handling of patient and business data, implements disaster recovery protocols, and supports cross-functional teams with database integration and system optimization.

Responsibilities :-

Administer, configure, and maintain all Oracle systems (databases, middleware, and applications) across production, testing, and development environments to ensure 24/7 availability and reliability. Maintain optimal database performance through advanced tuning of Oracle parameters, memory structures (SGA, PGA), and I/O configurations. Automate database maintenance activities like backup, reorg, and integrity checks through scripting in PL/SQL, Shell, or Python. Implement data protection strategies such as Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), Database Vault, and Data Redaction for compliance with HIPAA, UAE Health Data Law, and ISO 27001 standards. Manage hybrid environments leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Exadata Cloud@Customer, or on-premises Oracle deployments for scalable and cost-effective solutions. Integrate Oracle systems with third-party healthcare solutions such as HIS, PACS, and EMR platforms via secure API and middleware connections. Oversee virtual infrastructure components (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems (SAN/NAS), and data center resources to align with business continuity and high availability objectives. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies for automated provisioning and version controlled environment replication across development and staging layers. Provide expert-level L2/L3 technical support, resolving complex system and database incidents within defined SLAs, minimizing impact on healthcare operations. Use advanced diagnostics (trace files, AWR reports, ASH analytics) to resolve kernel-level or concurrency issues and ensure stable production environments. Develop comprehensive runbooks, error-handling flows, and technical SOPs to support IT continuity in case of incidents or planned changes. Ensure seamless business continuity through multi-site replication, cross-region deployments, and proactive RTO/RPO adherence.

Qualifications:-



Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Certification preferred. Additional certifications in Linux, ITIL, and Cloud technologies (OCI, AWS, or Azure) are advantageous. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle system administration, performance tuning, and database security. Strong working knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, WebLogic, and Data Guard. Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), VMware virtualization, and healthcare IT systems. Advanced scripting skills in PL/SQL, Shell, or Python. Proven experience with RMAN, Data Pump, ZDLRA, and other backup/recovery tools. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and network infrastructure principles. Proficiency in English is a must (speaking, reading, writing) Arabic Knowledge is an advantage Ready to Join Immediately
