Job Description

Overview

Carry out construction, installation and maintenance work on optical and copper cable networks.

Respond to and resolve emergency faults on optical cable lines in a timely manner.

Install low current systems according to technical requirements and project plans.

Take part in building new optical routes and extending existing network infrastructure.

Ensure stable operation and proper maintenance of optical cable routes.

Perform maintenance and expansion tasks for optical and electrical networks used in server colocation.

Install equipment in racks and complete structured cabling inside racks.

Set up cameras, access control systems and network equipment.

Carry out welding and splicing of optical fibers and connections.

Measure and test newly installed optical lines to confirm quality and performance.

Install optical end devices and insert cables correctly into equipment.

Read and follow project documentation, drawings and technical plans.

Install and configure active and passive network equipment as required.

Job Requirements

Completed secondary technical education.

Electrical safety qualification group II or III.

Willingness and ability to work on international projects abroad.

Valid driver's license.

Previous experience in a similar technical role will be an advantage.
