Your role

As an operator trainer, you are responsible for planning, preparing, implementing and evaluating courses for the customer's radar operators. The position may include being in charge of one or more courses. You will be a essential part of the continued development of our customer's ability to use GlobalEye.

You will be stationed in Abu Dhabi at Al Dhafra airbase as an expatriate for about 2 years within the international Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) project headed by Saab Surveillance. The Saab team on-site in UAE includes specialists on Aircraft platforms, Radar, EW and Mission system.

An important part of the role is to continuously build and maintain customer satisfaction and relations. You will also contribute to the future development of the GlobalEye mission system by reporting performed work, observations and possible improvements back to Saab.

You have experience in AEW&C operations. You are a team player and a skilled communicator who thrives in a global and complex environment. For this role it is important that you have:

The ability to handle customers and be a brand ambassador for Saab

The ability to create and maintain a professional relationship with the customer

Cultural awareness

High competence in how to operate the ERIEYE Mission System which is part of GlobalEye

A pedagogical approach

The ability to work with different personality types

Good English in speech and writing

Experience in working in an international environment and particularly in the Middle East is favorable, as well as exceptional social skills including focus on customer needs.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
