Alshaya\'s Central Production Facility (CPF) in Kuwait currently employs more than 150 people and manufactures food products for brands such as Starbucks. Now is an exciting time to join CPF as they embark on plan to improve, innovate and build additional revenue streams.

Role Profile:

To operate equipment and carry out duties so as to ensure the efficient supply of products to and from the production lines. All duties to be achieved within the company quality, safety, and environmental frameworks whilst developing a team working and continuous
improvement culture.

Key Performance Area:

• Ensure that when carrying out all duties that regard to own safety and that of others is

always taken into account. * GMP standards are maintained to the highest level at all times.

• Correct PPE is used when carrying out duties
• Ensure that machinery pre-safety checks are always carried out and documented - reporting any issues
• Follow all Safety, Health and Environmental procedures that relate to this role
• Risk assess jobs to be done and take required safety, quality and environmental actions
• Support a culture that enhances behavioral awareness to reduce accidents and near misses
• Ensure that no expired products are used in the production cycle
• Ensure that FEFO is being followed at all times
• Ensure that actions are taken to maximise line efficiency while running and during changeovers/wash downs
• Ensure that the relevant procedures (work instructions) are understood and followed
• Always seek to improve any duties that require to be carried out to make safer, cleaner, and more cost-effective
• Be an active part in the Team\'s Continuous Improvement activities.
• Meet daily with Team Leader to organise workload and priorities

Knowledge & Skills:

• Secondary school education
• Good clear communication skills.
• Good team player

Experience:

• 2 years Experience in a Food Production Environment, Understanding of food

Safety and Quality management systems
