Job Title Operations Manager-Investment Firm

Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional astute in ongoing operations/project management within all functions of a private investment firm with various investments around the world. This person will ensure the organization's day to day operations are running seamlessly and efficiently. He/she will be responsible to drive best practice processes and policies and will oversee the firm's projects to ensure its success.Responsibilities: Provide leadership and support to the various teams covering the functions of Finance, HR, Legal, Analytics Implement best in class policies and procedures and create effective procedural documentation Oversee and monitor all aspects of operations to ensure all systems functioning properly Ensure reports are done on time and critical deadlines are met Conduct project reviews with detailed action plans to ensure effective operations and delivery of all projects Mitigate operational risks by improving processes and procedures Ensure the firm's compliance with legal / regulatory bodies Other responsibilities include: Support and improve hiring practices Determine appropriate staffing levels Eliminate errors and inefficiency Implement quality control checks Leverage third-parties; outsource non-core functions Promote compliance and transparent practices Flag and manage risk Requirements: Proven track record in a relevant role overseeing projects in a wide and diverse area, some of which having had no prior experience Outstanding interpersonal, communication and leadership skills Organizational and decision-making abilities Demonstratable experience in building relations across a diverse group of stakeholders High level of integrity and dependability, with diligent work ethic Meticulous attention to detail Education/Certifications/Experience Experience with a leading consulting firm or relevant investment firm is a strong preference A college degree in engineering, finance or a relevant field MBA from a reputable university in the Europe or USA is a plus Education and Work Experience in Europe/USA is a value add requirement 7+ years' relevant experience in reputable local or international firms Project Management qualification/certification is a strong preference
