The Site Supervisor - Store & Materials Control will manage all tower crane parts, accessories, tools, and site materials. The role ensures proper receiving, storage, tracking, and issuing of components used in tower crane erection, dismantling, maintenance, and repair. This position supports operations by maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely availability of required parts.
Key Responsibilities:Tower Crane Parts Management
Receive, inspect, and store tower crane components:

Maintain proper labeling, segregation, and stacking for all crane parts.
Verify quantities received against delivery notes and inspection reports.
Inventory Control
Maintain an updated daily stock register for all mechanical, electrical, and structural crane parts.
Monitor critical items such as

Track returnable tools/equipment used by erection and maintenance teams.
Report shortages, damages, or missing parts immediately.
Site Operations Coordination
Issue crane parts for erection, climbing, dismantling, or maintenance as per approved requests.
Coordinate with
erection team leaders, technicians, inspectors, and operations managers
.
Arrange materials for mobilization and demobilization of cranes.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare
GRN, MIR, material issue vouchers, inspection reports
, and equipment logs.
Update digital inventory system or Excel sheets daily.
Submit weekly and monthly stock reports to management.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure safe handling and storage of heavy tower crane components.
Maintain yard/store cleanliness and ensure compliance with
HSE guidelines

Secure valuable electrical and safety components against damage or theft.
Logistics & Yard Control
Coordinate loading/unloading of heavy crane components using forklifts/cranes.
Plan and organize yard layout for easy access and safe movement.
Ensure proper tagging and identification of all parts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
2-5+ years experience in
storekeeping or materials handling in tower cranes, construction lifting equipment, or heavy machinery

Strong understanding of tower crane parts and their names.
Experience working with erection/maintenance teams is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic computer skills (Excel, MS Office).
