A leading logistics company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Operations Manager. JOB PURPOSE
Directly reporting to Operations Director, oversees the Contract Logistics operations such as receiving, inventory management, and cargo movements.
Description
Developing of organizational Operations Strategies.
Creation and management of short and long-term goals and objectives align to the Vision and Mission.
Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.
Managing the skills and competency development of Operations Team.
Development of Statistical Analysis and Scoreboards for monitoring in lieu with Continuous Improvement.
Preparing and presenting Departmental Budgets during the Business Strategic Planning Meeting.
Working in collaboration with Commercial Team in reviewing and creating proposals related to Contract Logistics requirements.
Provides direction on Operations daily activities and reviews data and reports.
Managing the whole operations and staff\xe2\x80\x99s day to day activities.
Attends meeting and represents the Operations Department.
Acts as a Liaison Officer during 2nd and 3rd party audits and inspections the will took place at 5PL Logistics Solutions premise.
Optimizing the 3PL\xe2\x80\x99s delivery network and improving speed to our customers through various initiatives
Provides reports on Operations Performance to General Manager and Senior Management.
Managing all documented information related to Operations Department.
Ensures that the Operations Department comply with the Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System.
Conducts periodic visits to the storage facility to follow-up on all storage related matters e.g. work environment, the storage condition of all stocks.
Carry out all related process as per instruction from the Operations Director.
BS Degree or MA in Business Administration, Engineering or Related Course / University Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
Minimum of 8 Years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience working as Operations or Logistics Manager in a warehousing operations management role, Third Party Logistics
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Leader, Warehouse Manager or similar role
Prior background working on Tech projects to optimize operations, improve customer experience, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
