The successful candidate will lead a team in the operations department, maintain efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction, and leverage UAE sector networks to expand the customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management
Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and availability of vehicles.
Ensure all vehicles are properly serviced and ready for customer use.
Monitor vehicle performance and coordinate repairs.
Customer Service Excellence
Lead customer support efforts to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of service, including timely pick-ups and returns.
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
Business Development & Networking
Utilize existing networks in the UAE sector to generate new customers and business opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other partners.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to increase market reach.
Team Leadership and Training
Manage and train staff, including rental agents, maintenance teams, and customer service representatives.
Provide ongoing training on operational procedures, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Motivate the team to achieve performance goals and deliver outstanding service.
Operational Efficiency
Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, vehicle rentals, and returns.
Implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate vehicle procurement and disposal.
Financial Management
Manage budgets and oversee rental pricing strategies.
Ensure financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
Prepare reports and analyze rental performance for upper management.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure operations comply with all UAE laws, regulations, and company policies.
Monitor safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage to the fleet.
Oversee insurance and registration documentation for all vehicles.
Reporting and Analytics
Provide regular reports on fleet status, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
Use data to inform decision-making and improve operational processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations management or a similar role within the car rental or related industry.
Valid UAE
driving license is mandatory
.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service, communication, and networking abilities.
Proven ability to leverage industry connections to gain customers.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in rental management software and MS Office.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in fleet management.
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
English is required; Arabic is a plus.
