Job Purpose:
Lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer requirements and standards. Full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Coordinate with each department and in-line the entire production. Implement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational performance in the organization.

\xe2\x80\x93 Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices, strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
\xe2\x80\x93 Planning, Forecasting, and Budgeting \xe2\x80\x93 oversee these processes, and schedule activities to ensure timely completion.
\xe2\x80\x93 Effectively and efficiently manage the production of the required daily/weekly/monthly targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality, and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible, and ensuring the required best working practices are maintained at all times.
\xe2\x80\x93 Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization and ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis.
\xe2\x80\x93 Communicate and liaise with other departments regarding the throughput of stock to ensure production targets are met.
\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure production reports and presentations are shared with the management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
\xe2\x80\x93 Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
\xe2\x80\x93 Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess the ongoing performance of direct reports.
\xe2\x80\x93 Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing leave, allowances, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues, and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity.
\xe2\x80\x93 Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operations, recommending, supporting, and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements.
\xe2\x80\x93 Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact.
\xe2\x80\x93 Lead and facilitate monthly safety meetings and ensure that appropriate risk assessments are undertaken which cover the activities of the team and that staff is trained on them and complies with their requirements.
\xe2\x80\x93 Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
\xe2\x80\x93 Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
\xe2\x80\x93 Implements improved security and storage procedures to reduce loss and damage.

\xe2\x80\x93 8-10 years of operations management and leadership experience. Packaging industry experience is a definite plus.
\xe2\x80\x93 Must have a degree in Business Administration/Operations Management.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of general finance, budgeting, and cash-flow management.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
\xe2\x80\x93 Should possess excellent planning and leadership skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Ability to identify risk and formulate a strategy to maintain efficiency.
\xe2\x80\x93 Arabic conversational skills are preferred.
\xe2\x80\x93 Problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
