Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Operations Engineer
to manage the day-to-day manufacturing activities, oversee the coordination between departments, and ensure on-time and on-budget execution of metalwork projects. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth production flow from drawing release to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise workshop operations including cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing
Coordinate across design, estimation, procurement, production, and site teams
Develop and maintain production schedules, material flow, and manpower allocation
Monitor job progress and ensure milestone adherence
Troubleshoot production delays and enforce corrective actions
Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with ISO or project-specific quality standards
Collaborate with project engineers and foremen for on-site execution
Lead daily operations meetings and maintain operational reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
3-6 years of experience in metal fabrication or architectural metal work
Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes (sheet metal, welding, polishing, powder coating)
Ability to lead teams, manage tight schedules, and coordinate multiple projects
Excellent communication and team management skills
