Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer or Supervisor with a background in Civil, Mechanical, or Fitting trades. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities for our metal and glass installation projects. You will manage site operations, supervise installation teams, and ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with our rigorous quality and safety standards.

This role requires an individual who is currently available in the UAE on a visit visa or a transferable employment visa.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met. Lead and motivate on-site installation teams of fitters, fabricators, and technicians. Read, interpret, and execute work based on technical drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications for aluminum, glass, and steel structures. Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, main contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any on-site issues. Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control and ensure all work conforms to design standards and specifications. Implement and enforce strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site. Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, site diaries, and other required documentation. Monitor the use of materials, equipment, and manpower, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing wastage. Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot installation challenges to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, OR a technical certificate from ITI/ITC in a relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Fabrication).

Experience:

A minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Site Engineer or Supervisor within the UAE.

Industry Experience:

Essential:

Demonstrable experience in the metal and glass fabrication industry is mandatory (e.g., curtain walls, structural glazing, architectural metalwork, aluminum doors/windows, skylights).

Visa Status:

Crucial:

Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE on a valid and transferable Employment Visa or a Visit Visa.

License:

A valid UAE driving license is highly desirable.

Required Skills

Strong technical knowledge of metal and glass installation methods and materials. Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and architectural plans. Excellent leadership, team management, and on-site supervision skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Good organizational and time-management skills. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
