Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Interior & Exterior Paint Engineer

with comprehensive knowledge of all types of paints and coatings, both local and international specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in

skim coat systems

,

render finishes

, and all aspects related to interior and exterior painting works. Additionally, the candidate must be familiar with relevant codes and standards applicable to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all interior and exterior painting activities for various projects. Prepare and review technical specifications for paints and coatings in compliance with local and international standards. Select and approve types of paints and related systems (skim coats, renders, primers, etc.) suitable for different surfaces and project requirements. Inspect and ensure surface readiness before initiating paint applications. Ensure all painting works comply with approved codes and project specifications. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring the use of approved materials. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates related to painting works. Conduct regular site visits and technical inspections to monitor work progress and quality. Provide regular technical reports highlighting progress and any issues or recommendations. Approve color samples and final finishes in coordination with the design team and client. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during project execution.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum

10 years

of experience in interior and exterior painting works. Extensive knowledge of all types of paints (water-based, oil-based, epoxy, polyurethane, etc.). Strong familiarity with skim coat systems, render applications, and advanced finishing techniques. Proficient in local building codes and international standards (ASTM, BS, etc.).
