About This Job:

As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for forecasting sales force KPIs. This will be achieved by collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives. You will also analyse market insight, market trends, and sales data. In this dynamic role, you\'ll inspire and guide your team towards operational excellence. It is crucial to maintain relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and ensure compliance with the regulatory standards of Astellas.

Key Activities:
  • Work closely with the International markets customer excellence team and MEA Commercial Director to deploy local Customer Excellence capabilities across the MEA region.
  • Responsible for managing a team across Saudi, UAE, Egypt, South Africa, and Maghreb.
  • Build and enhance the digital understanding and capability of the commercial teams.
  • Responsible for building various commercial strategies that involve sales force KPI, market insight, cycle plans, omnichannel, segmentation, and target.
  • Partnering with the country\'s commercial teams to build appropriate training channel/support plans for the field force teams.
  • To deliver sales performance report on a monthly and quarterly basis to country and regional teams.
  • Participate or lead projects, initiate ad-hoc analyses and engage in the process of knowledge development.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Proven experience building commercial strategies like sales force KPI, market trends, sales cycle plans, training, etc.
  • Previous track record of leading a team and change management projects.
  • Profound knowledge of working with 3rd party suppliers.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
  • Candidate having experience in IQVIA data and CRM (Veeva) is desirable.
Educations/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in a relevant field or equivalent
Additional information:
  • This is a permanent, full-time position
  • The position is based in Dubai, UAE
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role is a blend of work from home and a minimum of 3 days in our Dubai office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
