Support the design, development, and implementation of ERM plans and programs to facilitate the effective implementation of the ERM framework across GCAA, in alignment with government standards and regulations.
Support in conducting, facilitating, and managing periodic risk assessments, ensuring that results are accurately reported to senior management and the internal audit committee.
Coordinate with relevant functions/units to organize and conduct training programs aimed at enhancing ERM awareness and promoting a risk management culture across GCAA.
Assist in the establishment and implementation of cost-effective risk controls and treatment plans.
Support the promotion of risk awareness through approved programs, risk simulation exercises, and the continuous monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs).
Risk Reporting
Assist in the development, dissemination, and follow-up of risk reports and dashboards, ensuring proper filing in line with defined procedures, government regulations, and quality standards.
Contribute to compiling and updating the corporate risk register, and monitor implementation of mitigation action plans, risk tolerance levels, and KPIs, reporting exceptions to management.
Communication
Support the development of promotional materials on ERM to foster and sustain a risk-aware culture aligned with organizational and governmental directives.
Assist in emergency/crisis response efforts by coordinating communications, gathering information, and ensuring proper implementation of communication protocols, as directed by management.
Represent the department in aviation industry ERM events and related initiatives in coordination with concerned units.
State Enterprise Risk Management Program
Support the preparation, update, and communication of approved changes to the State Enterprise Risk Management Program, ensuring all updates are recorded and disseminated to relevant departments.
Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of ERM policies, tools, methodologies, and awareness activities to ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedural requirements.
Identify gaps in risk awareness in collaboration with internal functions and recommend appropriate remediation measures, including the delivery of targeted training sessions.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in section's systems, processes, and practices by leveraging international best practices and focusing on cost and productivity enhancements.
Reporting
Ensure all functional reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner, meeting GCAA requirements and quality standards.
Health, Safety and Environment within GCAA
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards
Other Tasks/ Accountability
