MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To ensure 24*7 effective operation of flydubai's eTechlog system and its devices, overseeing setup, user management, support, issue resolution, training, report gathering, and digital projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the configuration of eTechlog, including configuration, interface setup, workflows, vendor service requests, change requests, and report development.
Manages the user administration of the eTechlog, including user creation, roles access rights setup, e-signatures, and login reviews.
Coordinates the first level of support for daily operational inquiries regarding eTechlog functionality and promptly addresses fixing of bugs reported by Pilots, Engineering, and Maintenance staff, ensuring 247 smooth aircraft operations with no disruptions.
Coordinates with the vendor to address issues or implement changes in the eTechlog system, conducting thorough investigations and replication of potential system faults before reporting for resolution.
Conducts thorough testing of eTechlog during the system upgrades and patch updates and provides support for corresponding activities.
Assists in monitoring the vendor's SLA performance as per the signed contract to ensure service quality and reduce downtime. .
Oversees daily inquiries regarding eTechlog devices and associated backup devices such as Bluetooth printers and other accessories.
Facilitates report requirement gathering across Engineering, Maintenance, Flight Ops and GCAA, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of solutions for report development.
Conducts eTechlog training sessions for key users in Engineering, Maintenance, Cabin, and Flight Ops.
Provides support for additional digital projects and activities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
Fluent in English
5 years of hand-on experience working with Engineering IT systems. Experience in system administrative roles, with proficiency within in Engineering IT environments. An understanding of the Flight Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance procedures.
Prior experience in eTechlog applications and platforms such as Ultramain and Conduce or MRO systems such as AMOS and TRAX.
Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years
