Job Description

The Senior Officer Engineering Production Support (Technical Planning) plays a vital role in supporting the Aero Engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations.
This position ensures the smooth and timely throughput of engines under the GEnx & LEAP Support Unit, providing technical planning expertise across Engineering and Operations.
The role focuses on job card creation, technical data management, and alignment with OEM-approved maintenance guidelines. It also contributes to technical publication updates, configuration tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards within a regulated MRO environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate workscope requirements and issue job cards in line with OEM maintenance guidelines.
• Amend task cards as required based on engine findings or latest OEM revisions.
• Create and manage visit number sequencing for all engine inputs.
• Prepare engine and module disassembly, assembly, and testing documentation for modular and non-modular components.
• Support the development of documentation for new engine capability initiatives.
• Review revisions to approved maintenance data and manage the update process.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely implementation of data revisions.
• Publish latest maintenance revisions within internal systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure adherence to company quality, safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Follow up on reporting and planning activities as directed by team leadership.
• Stay updated with industry developments and complete any basic engine course requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Bachelors degree preferred).
• 57 years of progressive experience in aviation, preferably within technical planning and operations coordination.
• Strong background in task planning, job card creation, and management of technical publications and revision cycles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or equivalent technical planning software.
• Experience in technical authoring or a technician background is an advantage.
