Job Description
JOB OFFER: AGRO BUSINESS GENERAL MANAGER TASKS AND OBLIGATIONS:
- Management of the operations of Import /Export, including having experience in clearance of Goods into Jebel Ali and other ports within middle eastern countries.
- Candidate should be an expert in agricultural products marketing, support the relationship between producers and consumers in the industry.
- Candidate should have experience in Agricultural marketers who are often responsible for conducting research, creating promotional materials and overseeing public relations for their employers.
- University degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural economics, or other related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with or in Agribusiness.
- Candidate should be fluent to speak/ write Arabic, English and French.
- Knowledge of the prioritized commodities preferably at the global level and of GCC region;
- Experience in value chain development and agribusiness finance, preferable experience with climate finance;
- Ability and demonstrated experience in designing and appraising business cases;
- Strong agribusiness relationship management experience and focus with the ability to stimulate trust and confidence with clients and investors including managing various stakeholders;
- Excellent communication (written and oral), reporting and presentation skills;
- Proven experience in managing projects: Financial, Personnel and Operations;
- Flexible approach to take on additional responsibilities as assigned/delegated;
- Willingness to travel to GCC member countries;
- Excellent organizing, negotiation, influencing and advisory skills
