Job Description

Role & responsibilities Provide first aid and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Consistently communicates effectively and respectfully with employees, the patient's family, and other members of the healthcare team. Respects and maintains confidential and identifiable health information as per HIPAA regulations. Demonstrates developed assessment skills. Perform required health assessments for specified programs. Oversee the medical surveillance of employees exposed to hazardous chemicals and infectious diseases. Assist the Military Preventive Medicine Team. Conduct required screening tests, such as the monthly drug and alcohol testing. Assists with the annual medical examination process from the subcontracted medical vendor in order to ensure quality of service and care for program employees. Coordinate the annual Health Expo and other health services-related events. Assist/coordinate with health and wellness promotion, education, and training programs. Coordinate annual flu vaccination campaign and ensure that employees receive and are up to date with USCENTCOM required vaccines. Assist with the return-to-work program and in managing workers compensation cases. Visit employees who has been hospitalized ensuring they are receiving the care needed and or assessing the need to be transferred to another healthcare facility. Coordinate with Managers, Supervisors, and the ESH team to ensure all necessary personnel are current in the Medical Monitoring Program: Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, Heavy Metal Testing, Cholinesterase, and PFTs Evaluate medical documentation and submit waivers to the appropriate approving authority, such as United States Army Central Command (USARCENT) or United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), as applicable. Ability to read results of tuberculin skin tests and educate employees regarding latent tuberculosis as needed. Maintain and update the OHC database system daily; ensuring that employees remain medically qualified to work in USCENTCOM AOR. Maintain professional development and growth, licenses, and certifications. Identifies and implements a course of action in non-routine situations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience Proficient on Microsoft applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Nurse with a great MS Office background as most of the work will be tracking spreadsheet and answering emails with partners and managers as well as employees An active and current registration as a Professional Registered Nurse in Country of Origin.
