Job Description

Title: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi Arabic, English Education: Bachelors degree in Environment, Health and Safety or equivalent. Experience- 3-5 Years

Role & Responsibilities

Implementing the occupational health and safety management system according to public health standards and guidelines in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Implement policies, procedures and guidelines for the occupational health and safety system. Ensure that employees and contractors are aware of occupational health and safety policies and procedures. Coordinate and link the requirements of the occupational health and safety system with all sectors and internal and relevant authorities. Implement internal periodic inspection plans on occupational health and safety procedures in all the center's buildings and facilities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, submit reports and recommendations to the concerned departments and follow up on improvement plans. Evaluate and approve occupational health and safety procedures for projects before their implementation, provide recommendations and follow up on their safe implementation. Collect and analyze accident data in the transport sectors to identify the main causes and adopt treatment and improvement plans. Implement an annual plan for auditing and inspecting occupational health and safety systems and issuing and approving conformity certificates for entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
