Position Overview
The position combines data analytics, dashboard development, and incident intelligence to provide real-time operational transparency. The focus is on developing reporting frameworks that help improve system uptime, stability, and performance across critical banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Dashboard Development
Develop automated Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or Kibana dashboards for system health, availability, and incident KPIs.
Create executive summaries, operational scorecards, and periodic performance trend reports.
Translate logs, traces, and metrics from platforms like Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, or ServiceNow into meaningful insights.
Standardize metric definitions across teams to ensure data consistency and comparability.
Support self-service reporting by building reusable datasets and training technical teams.
Operational & Performance Analytics
Monitor and report on MTTR, MTTD, uptime, alert volume, SLA/SLO adherence, ticket ageing, and incident recurrence.
Surface early-warning indicators, recurring operational pain points, and service reliability bottlenecks.
Contribute to capacity forecasts using infrastructure and incident data patterns.
Participate in incident reviews/post-mortems and quantify customer and service impact.
Governance & Quality Assurance
Maintain a centralized reporting repository, data dictionary, and reporting governance model.
Ensure reporting outputs meet audit, compliance, and regulatory expectations for performance transparency.
Collaborate with I&O, DevOps, PMO, and Service Management teams to refine reporting standards.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of telemetry and time-series datasets used in reporting.
Continuous Improvement
Advance automation, ETL pipelines, alerting logic, and visualization capabilities.
Introduce new reporting methods that enhance operational visibility and reduce manual effort.
Support teams in adopting a data-driven operations culture.
Ideal Profile
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, Looker, or Kibana.
Strong understanding of observability concepts: logs, metrics, traces, APM tools.
Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Elastic, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
Deep knowledge of operational KPIs: MTTR, MTBF, MTTD, SLA/SLO, incident trends.
Skilled in ETL, data modeling, and building pipelines for telemetry-driven reporting.
Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering abilities.
Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and disciplined version control practices.
