Job Description

This role requires strong communication skills in both Russian and English, along with proven experience in a UAE nursery or Early Years setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons following the Early Years curriculum (EYFS or equivalent). Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through structured and play-based learning activities. Maintain ongoing observations and assessments, ensuring accurate documentation of each child's progress. Differentiate teaching to meet individual needs, including children with additional learning requirements. Create a positive and nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and creativity.

Childcare & Safety

Ensure the classroom is clean, organised, and safe at all times. Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures, reporting any concerns promptly. Assist children with feeding, toileting, and personal care when required. Conduct daily safety checks of learning materials, classroom furniture, and play equipment.

Communication & Parent Partnership

Build strong, supportive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development and daily routines. Communicate confidently in both

, facilitating clear and effective interactions with families and staff. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, events, and open days. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent communication and a cohesive learning environment.

Teamwork & Professional Development

Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other educators to deliver high-quality Early Years education. Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and internal training workshops. Contribute ideas for improving planning, curriculum delivery, and classroom organisation.

Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:

Bachelor's degree in Education or Early Childhood Education. CACHE Level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification. Minimum

2 years of experience in a UAE nursery or Early Years setting

. Fluent in

Russian

with strong English communication skills. Solid knowledge of EYFS or a similar Early Years curriculum.

Desirable:

First Aid and Safeguarding certification. Experience in multicultural and international environments. Knowledge of additional Early Years frameworks (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.).
