Job Summary (NOC Engineer)
- Proactively monitor servers, networks, cloud applications, and security alerts to ensure continuous uptime and system stability.
- Manage incidents by logging tickets, performing initial troubleshooting, and escalating issues to higher-level support teams as needed.
- Conduct daily system health checks, correlate incidents, and issue proactive notifications to maintain seamless operations.
- Track daily backup job completion, monitor system availability, and check for certificate expiries to avoid service interruptions.
- Maintain accurate shift handover logs and follow incident management procedures to ensure smooth shift transitions in a 24x7 environment.
- Utilize IT infrastructure, networking, and system monitoring tools for efficient operations.
- Apply troubleshooting skills to servers, network devices, and cloud environments.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Work in rotational shifts as part of the 24x7 NOC support team.
- (Preferred) Hold certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, or ITIL Foundation.
