Job Description

JOB TITLE: NMEF - HR Manager (EVP-6)
FUNCTION: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: NMEF & NKSA HRGM
JOB PURPOSE
Manages and coordinates the delivery of HR operations / services within the entity. Directs and monitors the performance of the entity HR team and supports the regional CoE and Regional HR BP.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Business partner to the senior leaders of the entity and a member of the entity MC
  • Provides day to day operations support, managing the expectations of senior stakeholders
  • Effectively communicates entity needs to Regional HR BP and CoE teams and assists in developing appropriate solutions to meet the needs
  • Responsible for delivering HR initiatives for the entity, in line with regional guidelines
  • Coordinates employee / labour relations including union negotiations (if applicable)
  • Ensures HR compliance with the company policies, local laws and guidelines within the entity
  • Supports the Region HR CoE functions with input from the entity including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Strategy & Workforce Planning, Compensation & Benefits, HR transformation
  • Participates in the quarterly performance results as per the HR scorecard and appropriate action plans
  • Supports the competitiveness of the entity pay structure with the market as well as internal equity among the entity employees
  • Manages the performance management process in line with Regional guidelines and entity objectives
  • Supports the efforts to improve EVP and control attrition
  • Partner with Regional CoE to create career progression opportunities for talents
  • Supports the launch of L&D solutions to address employees development needs
  • Work with the TA team to improve Nissan employer brand and promote Nissan as an employer of choice
  • Partner with the finance team in leading the Headcount budget and Labour cost exercise
  • Active member of the HR Operations Committee and senior HR leadership team
Functional KPIs :
  • Entity HC and LC management
  • Entity succession and pipeline depth
  • Entity job levelling and C&B structure as per regional guidelines
  • Entity engagement & retention plan creation & deployment
  • HR Digital - Workday roll-out and data accuracy
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Member of a professional, recognised HR body
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 6+ years professional experience as a HR Business Partner to senior stakeholders
  • Experience managing manufacturing operations including union negotiations (if applicable)
  • Experience within complex, international corporate organisations
  • Experience working in a regional Centre of Expertise (CoE) role advantageous
