Job Description
A young and rapidly growing Agriculture commodity trading Company is looking for a General manager who is a natural leader in order to maintain their high standards. This person should have experience managing human resources, finances, and communications in addition to controlling corporate operations. The ideal applicant would be a great communicator with the capacity to interact across many departments and delegate responsibility. The general manager's ultimate motivation should be a desire to guide the company to its highest levels of productivity and efficiency. Responsibilities of this role:
- Manage day-to-day operations, set, and monitor weekly performance goals, and reach your own objectives.
- Meet goals for sales, profitability, and market share, must be able to hire, onboard, and educate high-performing employees.
- Keep projects on schedule to guarantee that work is completed in a timely manner.
- Create, implement, and maintain plans for allocating funds and resources.
- Uphold all rules, regulations, standards, instructions, training materials, and cultural norms.
- Resolve internal staff disputes quickly and to the benefit of all parties.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- 8+ years of work experience in UAE
- Accounting experience
- Good banking experience and connections
- Flexible (Will be able to travel)
- Computer literacy (Including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Are you comfortable with a salary of AED 6,000 per month?
- at least 5 years of Office/General Management (Required)
- Arabic (Required)
