We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Networking Engineer

to manage and implement network infrastructure in commercial fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking and

prior experience working in fit-out or construction environments

.

You will be responsible for planning, deploying, and maintaining IT networks (wired and wireless), ensuring that connectivity and communication infrastructure is delivered efficiently and aligned with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi) for fit-out sites and office environments. Coordinate with project managers, MEP teams, and subcontractors during project execution. Install and configure network devices including switches, routers, access points, firewalls, and patch panels. Manage structured cabling works, ensuring adherence to standards and layouts. Ensure seamless integration of AV, CCTV, access control, and other low-voltage systems with the network. Perform network performance monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting. Support handover documentation and provide as-built diagrams of network setups. Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection policies on construction sites and in completed facilities. Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and asset logs.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering.

Must have experience working in fit-out or construction environments

. Strong understanding of structured cabling, patch panels, and termination standards. Familiarity with installation and configuration of Cisco, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, or similar networking devices. Experience working on-site and coordinating with multiple stakeholders (consultants, contractors, vendors). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and network schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with integrating AV, BMS, and security systems over network infrastructure. Familiarity with fit-out project lifecycles and timelines. Understanding of low-voltage system coordination.
