We are seeking a skilled Network & IT Pre-Sales Engineer to support our business development and client engagement initiatives in Dubai. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in network infrastructure and IT solutions with excellent presentation and communication skills, helping design and propose customized solutions that meet customer requirements

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and design network, security, and IT infrastructure solutions accordingly. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for customers. Prepare solution proposals, bills of materials (BOMs), diagrams, and scope of work (SOW) documents. Provide technical consultation and support during the pre-sales cycle, ensuring alignment between customer needs and solution design. Respond to RFPs/RFQs by preparing detailed technical and commercial documentation. Liaise with vendors and distributors to obtain pricing, compatibility, and technical validation. Assist in solution architecture, network design, and capacity planning for enterprise and SMB clients. Stay updated with emerging technologies, vendors, and industry standards in networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and unified communications. Support handover to the post-sales / implementation team, ensuring smooth project transition

Qualification & Requirements:

Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing & switching, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and IP telephony. Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Palo Alto, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, or similar technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud networking, and IT infrastructure. Familiarity with RFP preparation, solution sizing, and commercial negotiation. Excellent presentation, proposal writing, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent). 3-6 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineering / Network Consulting
