Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

Description

Our client is hiring an experienced Network Administrator responsible for the ongoing support for all clinical related applications that together comprise or support the longitudinal patient record. Responsibilities include application installation and integration; application configuration; application upgrades and patching; application troubleshooting; application security; application security access management; and application monitoring, backup and recovery. Also responsible for report design, development and implementation.

• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
• Keep an eye out for needed updates
• Support and administer third-party applications
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Resolve problems reported by end user
• Define network policies and procedures
• Specify system requirements and design solutions
• Research and make recommendations on server system administration

Who are you

You are an experienced network administrator designing, installing, monitoring, and supporting technology infrastructures.
Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in a network administrator role
• Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
• Great at organising, prioritising and multitasking

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• Oracle Certification and any other Work related certification is a plus
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
