Plan, schedule, and supervise daily NDT activities
Assign jobs to NDT technicians and monitor job progress
Coordinate with QA/QC, maintenance, and production teams to align inspection priorities
Ensure efficient utilization of personnel and equipment
Quality & Compliance
Verify that inspections meet client specifications and applicable codes
Review and approve inspection reports
Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with NDT procedures and safety standards
Support internal and external audits
HSE & Radiation Safety
Ensure all NDT work complies with radiation safety and local regulatory requirements
Resource & Equipment Management
Manage NDT equipment inventory, calibration, and maintenance
Forecast manpower needs and support the recruitment or training of NDT staff
Ensure all NDT personnel are certified and valid
Client & Project Interface
Coordinate with project management, QA/QC, and client representatives for inspection activities
Attend progress and coordination meetings
Provide technical guidance and resolve inspection-related issues
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
Track productivity, job performance, and turnaround time
Support billing and documentation for completed work
Qualifications & Certifications
Bachelor's in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding Engineering
Knowledge in Conventional and Advanced NDT (MPI, DPI, UT, RT, PAUT, TOFD, etc.)
7-12 years in NDT, including 3-5 years in a supervisory or lead role
Valid Level II or III certifications in multiple NDT methods (ASNT SNT-TC-1A / ISO 9712 / PCN / CSWIP)
