Expro Group are currently recruiting for a MRP Planner to join the Supply Chain team based in Dubai, UAE.
Overall Purpose of the Job: This role acts as the sole interface for material supply within Group Supply Chain towards Product Line and all associated countries within regions where that Product Line has active demand that needs material supply. The main criteria for this role is to ensure a smooth supply of inventory to match a demand schedule driven from a project, maintenance, service and/or spares schedule within SAP ensuring a readily available supply balanced with a cost effective approach to protect Company cash flow.
Principal Accountabilities: 1. Responsible for working with the appropriate Expro Regions, Countries, Bases and Business Units\xe2\x80\x99 to keep inventory levels optimum. 2. Promote the utilization of MRP related materials planning in SAP through demand input of forward planning information relayed from Product Line and Operations. 3. Execute & monitor material requirements planning, converting Planned Order to Purchase requestion for Buyers to place external PO for the supplier to receive goods on-time for consumption. Analysing incoming demand identify order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory. 4. Accountable for actioning MRP exception messages within SAP. 5. Accountable for performing STOs between sites/regions where excess and available stock exists. 6. Chair monthly status meetings with Product line highlighting inventory values & trends, mixed with consumption & spend analysis, inventory turn, RAG analysis, success, challenges and actions for upcoming month. 7. Observe, audit and document successes and deficiencies of standard and measurable processes for all core aspects of materials management and prepare and oversee the implementation of corrective action plans. 8. Interface between Engineering, Procurement and Operations to ensure volume of inventory is in line with demand and potential future requirements. 9. Adhere to the Expro Business Principles & Ethics and Code of Business Conduct of being reliable, trustworthy and fair. Avoiding conflicts of commercial interest, ensuring accuracy of information, maintaining confidentialities and by abstaining from all forms of corruption. 10. Perform additional inventory duties requested by both direct and matrix reporting line management
Job Knowledge and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience within material & inventory control

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the use of an ERP system \xe2\x80\x93 SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards etc

• Minimum of 3 years experience within Oil & Gas or similar industry

• Lean, Kaizen / Six Sigma mindset and training (preferred)

• Accredited externally qualification from a recognised body within material/inventory and/or production control (preferred)
