KEY TASKS / ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages materials inventory levels to meet company and individual goals. Ensure shipments are cleared within free time and there's no demurrage/storage/detention charges etc. This needs to be closely coordinated with Planning Coordinator Analyze the Material Requirements Plan to calculate materials needed to meet the demand Issue purchase orders and coordinate with all suppliers for delivery schedule Identify potential material delays and make strategies with FG Planner on how to overcome it Maintain material inventory targets as assigned. Coordinate with all stake holders for rejected, phased out and damage locations. For all expired materials, conduct weekly meetings with Warehouse and Quality and make the revalidation plans Resolve invoice issues related to suppliers with the help of warehouse and Finance to avoid materials supply disruptions RCCP for materials to be done on regular basis and make strategies in case of any capacity constraints Coordinates with suppliers, and appropriate plant personnel to meet month end targets. Recommends changes to procedures and work plans to improve overall management of inventory with objective of reducing inventory without increasing the risk of customer service issues. Maintains data accuracy in JDE. This includes ensuring BOMs are accurate, scrap factors are set-up, supplier lead times, order quantity strategies and production run size information is up-to-date. Responds to exception due to changes in MPS or MRP to achieve required service and inventory goals. Maintains strong working relationships with all departments within the plant and with all external customers and suppliers. Manages obsolescence to minimize the financial exposure to the business caused by a change to an existing product or discontinued product Manages all EPD projects to ensure launches occur on schedule for assigned brands. Participates in NPD projects to ensure the planning responsibilities are covered for new product launches Work closely with IS team for running MRP through JDE Conduct other duties and special project as required

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

Degree educated or equivalent competency & experience. 1 year experience in an FMCG environment is desirable. Ability to plan, prioritize, organize work and resources appropriate to requirements. Effectively adapt to change in work situations, taking initiative to ensure clear, timely and well executed action. Demonstrate effective leadership qualities, ability to self-motivate and motivate other. Ability to achieve set goals and targets. Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, continuously striving for improvement.
