San3a Tech is seeking a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to join our team. In this role, you will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead the design of data collection methodologies, ensuring alignment with project goals. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing data to evaluate project outputs, outcomes, and impact. Responsibilities:



Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure they align with project goals and objectives. Lead the design of data collection methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Regularly collect, clean, and analyze data related to project outputs, outcomes, and impact. Ensure accurate data management through databases or M&E software systems. Compile and produce comprehensive M&E reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors. Present findings through clear reports, presentations, and visual data displays. Support the programs team in translating data insights into actionable strategies for project improvement. Train and support the programs team members and partners in M&E processes and data collection tools. Ensure field teams and stakeholders understand and use M&E systems effectively. Facilitate learning and reflection sessions based on M&E data to adjust strategies and improve program performance. Identify and document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories for internal knowledge-sharing. Ensure M&E practices align with donor requirements, project goals, and ethical data standards. Contribute to audit and compliance reviews by providing detailed M&E documentation. Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and data collection practices. Provide feedback to project teams on improving performance based on observations and data.

Requirements




Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within development or humanitarian projects.

Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E systems, including data collection, management, and analysis.

Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Excellent report writing skills and ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Proficiency in M&E tools, databases, and software.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Experience working with donor-funded projects.
Familiarity with ethical standards and safeguarding principles in data collection.
