Overview / Responsibilities

Wood has an opportunity for a Mobilization Coordinator to join our team in Qatar on a staff basis. This role requires extensive interface with multi-location project execution teams. The selected candidate will be expected to work in a multidiscipline, multicultural team environment where the overall success of the project is paramount.

Responsibilities. Responsible in the preparation and liaising of Qatar visa applications Very good knowledge with Qatar labor & immigration law. Booking and arranging pre- employment medical requirements for employee Booking and arranging Wood Group inductions for employee Booking and managing flights, accommodation and transportation for employee's mobilisation Maintaining the mobilisation tracker and ensuring data are up to date at the highest standard and in line with emergency response procedures Manage all administrative processes including the issuing of joining instructions; maintain accurate records and filing Ensure all employees have the appropriate visa, medical, attestation, induction, project specific requirements prior to mobilisation Acts as logistics focal point for nominated project in relation to the movement of personnel. Prepares and send out Welcome / Mobilization e-mail. Ensure employee have the correct documentation. Monitoring of employee flight tickets, hotels, medicals, inductions and visas due to expire to ensure validity is kept at all times Ensuring Audit requirements are met for employee folders Manage priorities and react accordingly to changes in a timely manner and logistic requirement. Manage new starts process of personnel on project. Coordination of Security Personnel and Gate Pass if required Actively support and adhere to Wood HSE Policy Maintain good team moral and relationships within the project/group.

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree Minimum Experience: 5 years' experience in relevant role Role-Specific Skills: Expert in Excel, Power point, MS office Previous mobilization experience in same field. Proactive approach Ability to effectively communicate with confidence across all levels Able to work under pressure & tight deadlines Work with minimum supervision Able to work independently and within a team when needed High degree of accuracy Teamwork spirit
