Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Mobile & Laptop Technician

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing mobile phones and laptops. Your work will ensure that devices are restored to full functionality and meet high-quality standards--whether for customer returns or resale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnostics & Repairs

Accurately diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones and laptops Perform component-level repairs, including screen, battery, motherboard, and other internal parts replacements Resolve software issues such as OS problems, malware removal, and data recovery Test all repaired devices to ensure quality and full functionality

2. Refurbishment

Clean, refurbish, and reassemble devices to like-new condition Test hardware components before reassembly Install necessary hardware or software upgrades

3. Customer Support

Communicate effectively with customers about issues, estimates, and repairs Provide basic technical support and usage tips Maintain accurate service records for each repair

4. Inventory & Parts Management

Track and manage inventory of tools and spare parts Order replacement parts as needed Keep detailed inventory logs of parts used and in stock

5. Ongoing Learning

Stay current with new models, repair techniques, and industry trends Participate in training and development programs

6. Safety & Compliance

Follow all safety protocols when handling tools and electronic components Adhere to environmental guidelines for e-waste disposal and recycling

Qualifications

Proven experience in mobile phone and laptop repairs Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills Excellent attention to detail Strong customer service and communication skills Organizational ability to track repairs and inventory Ability to work with small components for extended periods

Working Conditions

Full-time role in a service center or repair shop environment
